I ❤ Nail Art πŸ’…

Hey guys!

So recently I started getting into NailArt. I've been doing it for about 4 weeks now but I'm in love with It! I should have started this much sooner! I have always hated acrylic nails but I got them anyway because I wanted my hands to look nice. I used to have a HUGE problem biting my fingers and fingernails. I did this for over 8 years probably even longer than that and I always knew I would keep that nasty habit my entire life. Then.... I Got BRACES! I hated having them but it stopped my habit completely because it was almost impossible to do it with all that metal in my mouth! Lol

Anyway, I'm really into this NailArt hobby I have. I'm sure with a little time I will be a pro but there is so much to learn. I spend about an hour a night just YouTubing nail tutorials! Lol
There are so many talented women who are into this and I can't wait to start networking and getting involved because this is something I really love doing. Even though I hate acrylics on my own nails I still want to learn to do it!

I'll be posting pictures regularly to keep you posted with my creations. Please if u have any questions ask me! I'm more than willing to share any tips or info with you or even get some! :)

Otherwise
enjoy!!!

Survival Tips for new Moms

Survival Tips for new Moms

Hey guys! So I'm getting in the swing of this mom thing and I have to confess I'm starting to kinda digg it a tad! At 1st I have to admit it was hell, my mind was all over the place trying to remember everything that comes with having a new child but no need to worry because you quickly adjust to the mommy life!

By all means have a plan, but don't stick to it at all costs. Be ready to refine the plan and meet new challenges in a way that suits you and your baby!

Sleep when your baby sleeps. This is a really common piece of advice that most new moms find hard to follow. We want to use the time while baby is sleeping to catch up with chores. Remember, newborns don't sleep a lot. You will be up several times a night. If you can sleep or even just rest during the day when your baby sleeps, do it. Only do the essential chores (such as putting a load of laundry on so baby has something to wear) or preparing dinner maybe in advance if that helps.

Make informed decisions. There's a lot of information out there for new moms. Magazines, books, websites and other moms can all provide useful tips, advice and information. By all means, do your research and inform yourself of all the options. Then make choices based on the information you've gathered and your own intuition.
A few sites I personally check out from time to time are

http://www.zerotothree.org/
http://www.babycenter.com

Get organized. Life with a new baby is chaotic. Things will run more smoothly if you get organized. Make sure your diaper bag is well stocked with everything you're likely to need and re-pack after every trip out. Keep spare diapers, wipes and a change of clothes in the car. Set up your changing area at home close to where you spend the most time. Keep track of doctors visits, shots and other appointments and plan ahead. Always leave extra time every time you have to leave the house with your new baby.

Those are just a few things to get you started. Check out those sites they are helpful!!!

Are Breast Implants Worth It??

Heeeyyyy… I know I haven’t blogged in quite sometime. Mostly because this pregnancy has been wearing me down! Lol. Its almost time for my son to arrive and I get a little more nervous and excited about his arrival by the day. I’m 35 weeks in now, so he will be here in NO TIME!!!! J

Anywayz…lately I have been asked by a quite a few of my friends about what I think of getting breast implants. Do I think it’s a good or bad idea, or what?!
Honestly,,,I have personally thought of getting breast implants several times. I don’t really think of it anymore. It was a personal decision to get that idea out of my head.

What I have told my friends is to think about this decision 1st thoroughly before doing it!
Are you doing it for yourself?
The first question you need to ask yourself is whether you’re interested in having larger breasts because this is what you really want or whether it’s due to external factors such as peer pressure, pleasing your significant other or conforming to unrealistic media standards. The only acceptable reason to put yourself through surgery and changing your body is when you truly feel that this is the best thing for you!

Is it worth it?
-Did u know?? Breast implants will usually need to be replaced every 10-15 years, if not earlier
-It can cause possible problems that consist of: loss of sensation in nipples, breast pain, capsular contracture, implant rupture, and more.
-The FDA has discovered that the majority of breast implant patients are confronted with at least one serious complication within 3 years of their surgery.

I’m just saying it’s a lot to go through….so just make sure that it’s a decision that you are willing to deal with as well as one that you can truly afford.

Just be mindful before getting breast implants that there are many OTHER things that you can do to improve the way you look at your breast….like using Push Up Bras, Padded Bras, Breast Pads and im sure many other things as well. Just google it. Im sure you can come up with something! J

25 Weeks In! :)

Heyyyy!
I haven't wrote n a while. If you haven't guessed it by now...SURPRISE IM PREGNANT! Lol
Initially I wasn't very pleased with the pregnancy. Getting thru that 1st trimester was pure HELL for me. Morning sickness hit me extremely Hard. It was more like "all day" sickness and I was extremely miserable to say the least.
But as the weeks have passed and the "sick stage" has minimized I am becoming more and more excited to become a mommy :)

ITS A BOY!
Not gonna front I was kinda hoping for a daughter but Whatever...I'm completely happy knowing that I have a beautiful Son on the way! Hes definitely gonna b a "momma's boy" lol. We (his father & I) have decided to name him... Cayden Kaif Hawkins.
I love his name but I had nothing to do with it. His father decide on Cayden and his granddad (my daddy) chose Kaif...which is Muslamic and means "high spirited"... Yes my dad is a muslim. Lol

Soon this pregnancy will be over and my prince will be here. The time haas really been going by quickly. Can't wait to meet my little man! :) #excited for his arrival!!!
